OVERVIEW

Redesigning Enterprise Partnership Intelligence from the Ground Up

I worked on a stealth-stage B2B AI platform focused on improving how companies find and evaluate strategic partners, a process that was previously manual, inconsistent, and hard to scale.

I worked with the User Experience Team collaborating with two other design interns and Product Manager. As part of a small, fast-moving team, I owned end-to-end product design across desktop and mobile, shaping both the MVP and later iterations in close collaboration with product and engineering. We developed their business development platform and designed their promotional website for their product launch for Q2 2026.

End-to-End Product Design & Strategic Impact

MY CONTRIBUTION

I partnered closely with the Product Manager to translate business goals into product direction and worked directly with engineers to make sure designs were feasible early in the process. I led UX work across information architecture, core flows, and interaction design.

One of my main contributions was redesigning the navigation and structure of the product so that the most important actions were easier to find and use. I also designed AI-assisted workflows that helped users surface relevant partnership opportunities and make decisions more efficiently within complex evaluation flows.

To support speed and consistency, I built and maintained a design system that became the foundation for all product work. I also used AI tools during early ideation to quickly explore different directions before refining them.

THE RESULT

My Impact

My work helped simplify key user flows, making the product easier to navigate and reducing friction in core tasks. The updated structure and workflows improved clarity across both desktop and mobile experiences.

The design system helped the team move faster and stay consistent as the product evolved, while early use of AI tools made it easier to explore and validate ideas quickly without slowing down development.

What I Learned

REFLECTION

Working in a startup environment I learned to adapt quickly to changing deadlines and wearing different hats throughout the process. I leveraged my visual design skills to elevate the visual narrative for the platform that aligned to the founder’s vision and target user demographic.

Designing with a cross-collaborative team allowed me to strengthen my communications skills to ensure alignment across deliverables. I was able to refine my design decisions and understand development technical constraints and work through these challenges.

NEXT STEPS

Measuring Varmodel’s Impact

Upon launch of Varmodel’s initial platform solutions we will track the success and growth through tracking the following metrics:

  • Onboarding of new users to meet target acquisition by the first quarter.

  • Reach monetization targets with initial core user plans.

  • Enrollment of small businesses and independent professionals to expand available opportunities on the platform to increase user engagement and retention.

  • Increase enrollment through strategic online campaigning to recruit business owners to the platform.
