We Are Connected
We Are Connected is a merchandise and apparel line inspired by found community during a time of isolation and uncertainty.

Director of Design creative direction of merchandise and apparel for Chicanx Latinx Collegiate Association organizational fundraising efforts.

The Alchemist
Process
I started brainstorming and creating sketches of illustrations that symbolized these pillars. Due to the pandemic, we as an organization wanted to emphasize the importance of community and connection to our members. With this in mind the symbols I decided to incorporate were circular shapes including a globe illustration to represent community and unity. This was also displayed in the illustration of two figures next to one another, a wave length in-between to represent communication.
For the organization's hoodie I decided to use the symbol I created for the community pillar in the back design. I also added the organization’s slogan on the back “if you succeed, we succeed” surrounding the globe.
